CD 34
CD34+ cell quantification is necessary to determine the optimal timing and to confirm the adequacy of Peripheral Blood Stem Cell (PBSC) harvests. This assay also helps to determine when to perform Bone marrow stem cell transplants; whether to continue Apheresis and to assess bone marrow and Cord blood viability. CD34+ absolute count is a critical parameter for rapid and sustained engraftment.
